Thinking about PTC Zone for your family? Here are the answers to the most common questions—especially about our $39 Starter Journey and the best path for your child.
The Starter Journey is the best way to begin at PTC Zone. It’s $39 and includes 2 weeks of training (up to 4 classes), a PTC Zone T-shirt, and a short check-in so I can recommend the best pathway (Standard, Adaptive, or Team).
There’s no contract and no pressure. It’s simply a strong, clear beginning.
Yes. PTC Zone is an approved Step Up for Students provider. If your family is eligible, Step Up may help cover tuition for qualifying programs.
If you have questions about your specific situation, contact me and I’ll guide you on the best next step.
That’s exactly why the Starter Journey exists. During the first two weeks, I observe your child’s pacing needs, comfort level, focus patterns, and learning style.
At the end, I recommend the best path forward: Standard Youth Program (max 8) or Adaptive Martial Arts (max 4 with calmer pacing and structured transitions).
Standard (Ages 7–12): Mon/Wed 5:30–6:30pm
Standard (Ages 13–16): Tue/Thu 6:30–7:30pm
Adaptive (Ages 7–12): Tue/Thu 5:30–6:30pm
Adaptive (Ages 13–16): Mon/Wed 6:30–7:30pm
PTC Competition Team: Fridays 5:30–7:30pm (invite-only add-on)
Women’s Kickboxing (17+): Mon–Thu 7:30–8:30pm
Starter Journey: $39 (2 weeks, up to 4 classes, includes T-shirt)
Standard Youth Program: $150/month
Adaptive Martial Arts: $175/month
Women’s Kickboxing: $100/month
Competition Team add-on: +$35/month (requires active Standard or Adaptive membership)
Comfortable athletic clothing is perfect for the first class. Your child will receive their PTC Zone T-shirt as part of the Starter Journey.
As students progress, I’ll guide you on uniforms and any equipment needed—no surprises.
We have structured our program to be accessible for everyone. Although we don't offer discounts, we do have a flat family/group plan (4 Members).
We run PTC Zone as a year-round training program focused on long-term development. Just like a gym membership, your monthly fee reserves your place in class and supports the full ecosystem: space, instruction, community events, and planning.
Spreading the tuition across 12 months keeps your payments consistent and makes budgeting easier for everyone.
We train roughly 48 weeks per year, with scheduled weekly breaks in March, May, November, and December. This time allows for rest, family time, and school maintenance—but tuition remains consistent across all 12 months as part of the annual program.
No! Whether you're looking to get in shape, build confidence, boost self-esteem, or acquire discipline and leadership skills - our program is a great way for you to become your best self.
No. Competition is never required for our Standard or Adaptive programs. Some students enjoy tournaments; others simply train for confidence, focus, and growth.
For students who want a competitive path, the PTC Competition Team is an invitational add-on focused on tournament preparation and leadership under pressure.
Absolutely. Martial arts teaches kids to be coordinated, flexible and strong. Kids who don't naturally have these qualities develop them. Kids who do have these qualities develop them even more.
Because we keep classes intentionally small, memberships are designed for consistent training. We plan class spots carefully and we want students to build momentum.
Your membership secures your spot in our small classes—if you cancel, your place will be released and may be given to someone on the waiting list.
If you need to end your membership, we ask for one month’s written notice.
You’re welcome to return later, but please note that spaces are limited, and rejoining will be subject to availability and may require a rejoining fee.
We do not charge additional fees for testing/advancement.
There are some additional fees related to competition (uniforms, equipment, entry fees, etc.)
Uniform and equipment needs vary by program and competition goals. I’ll guide you clearly before you purchase anything. Tournament fees can range from $0-$100 depending on the tournament rating.
