Our Style - Hung Gar Kung Fu
The Hung Gar style have been
described as powerful and swift, with a solid, immovable stance.
The Hung style uses short-range
tactics (valued for their defensive value) and long-range movements (good for
offense). Blocks and counters have the impact power of a sledgehammer.
The techniques combine
the fluid and graceful movements of the crane, with the powerful and
direct strength and agility of the tiger, to develop a complete and
practical self-defense system.

Our
Youth classes are very high energy and full of excitement and fun. Your child
will learn practical
self
defense techniques while building coordination and physical fitness.
Your
child will gain more confidence and ability in other sports, develop good work
and study habits, have an increased attention span, which are all benefits he
or she can apply in school, at home, or
with his or her friends.

Our
Adult Class is structured to provide you with a well rounded martial arts
training program. This consists of stretching and conditioning exercises,
kicking techniques, fighting forms, Chinese weaponry, self defense, bag drills,
and sparring.
You'll develop a
broader understanding of Chinese philosophy, fighting theory and application,
and
self discipline. Each class emphasizes different aspects of our training
program to ensure you get the
most out of your martial arts training.
Cardio/Fitness - Ages 15 and Up

Our fitness
program is for each member of your family. Our instructors are certified in
fitness, martial arts, Fitness Kickboxing, and group/personal training. Getting
in shape does not require long hours of boring exercises. This fast-paced, high
energy class will help you burn 500 to 800 calories in a one hour workout.
