Training in Hung Gar Kung Fu has many benefits - it provides a vigorous physical workout that will improve your overall health, fitness, and energy level while also developing your coordination and flexibility, provides a proven system of self-defense techniques, self-confidence, discipline, and much, much more.

Training in Hung Gar falls into three main categories:
• Exercise/Conditioning
• Forms (Empty Hand & Weapon)
• Self Defense / Sparring

Exercise & Conditioning
Don’t worry if you’re not in shape – regular training will get you there, and much quicker then you might think. Hung Gar will develop your strength, speed, flexibility, stamina, and coordination.

Empty-Hand and Weapon Forms
A form is a collection of techniques which are choreographed in a specific pattern or order. Each form you learn teaches different techniques, fighting theories and principles, and provides you with a means to practice technique, footwork, which when done correctly, provides an excellent cardio workout.

Self-Defense / Sparring
Hung Gar classes include regular sparring classes where students are given the opportunity to spar against classmates in a controlled environment. Safety equipment is mandatory to participate in sparring sessions.

Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
